Bloganuary #1: Challenges I Face

What are your biggest challenges?

Challenges come and go but one challenge that sticks with me is bipolar depression that also comes with anxiety.

It’s important to talk about these uncomfortable topics as everyone faces challenges everyday like poverty, substance uses, relationships, and many others. Talking about these challenges can help each other overcome these challenges by learning through others experience and not feel like we have to overcome them on our own.

I have always felt with depression and anxiety that it comes in seasons. When I feel low, I feel low for a while before feeling like I’m coming out of the storm. But even when I’m low I know better days are to come and there’s so much in life to look forward to.

Staying in a structured routine helps me a lot! Staying in the gym, getting movement in, and realizing when I need to take mental health days when I need to. Also surrounding myself with others who lift me up!

We all struggle with challenges. But it’s important to know you’re never alone. With a new year ahead I hope everyone has a great year and overcome their challenges!
